DestinedIt's amazing the thoughts  that run through your head  Late at night or when alone.  In the streets you see them,  At work you see more of the same.  It seem impossible to escape  The never ending stream of joy,  The happiness that people have.  Boyfriends, girlfriends, partners,  Fiancés, lovers.  Everywhere I look I see them.  I use to find it odd  That I wasn't the same.  Over time I have accepted it  So here I stand looking in to the abyss  Destined to be alone,  Destined to be lonely,  Destined to be me,  Destined to be forever single,  Destine Destined

LonelyIt is a terrible thing to realise  That you are haunted by your thoughts.  Sitting alone late at night  Then they attack you with images.  It seems to be a curse upon me,  During the day I'm fine  Late at night and I transform  At least my mind does.  Now I'm always attacked by these thoughts,  I use to think it was when I was alone at night  But now I know this for sure.  Yet I get attacked by these thoughts always,  I guess my thoughts have finally won  I am alone even when I'm in a crowd.  Loneliest when I'm around friends,  I'm alone,  I'm lonely. Lonely

Just a ThoughtI guess it's just one of those things  Your out on a Friday night  Having a good time with your mates  Then it strikes you like an arrow to the back,  A pain unknown or at least long forgotten.  It's a sad state of affairs  When you finally see and figure out,  Your one of a kind  But not in a good way.  It seems everywhere I look  There are couples  All hand in hand but am I?  Of course not  
I'm not meant for companionship.  Oh well, after all...  It was just a thought. Just a Thought

Heh all out there in DA land. I know I haven't updated anything in a long time on here, except the occasional comment to those who :+fav: certain things I had submitted. I've now finished my degree in Biology and am trying to get in to teaching, not much luck yet though. I will try and put something up at some point other than a journal.
